Front Office Team
I love how our doctors and staff work together to take care of our patients, to ensure that each person has a great dental experience! My dental profession started early in my career; however, most of my work experience is in the corporate environment as a human resource professional. I recently transitioned back to my first love, dentistry, when I joined our practice in 2015. I manage the day-to-day business aspects, recruit, develop, and support our team. I especially enjoy when I am able to help our patients understand their treatment and financial options.
I’m blessed to have a wonderful family. I am a new grandma, and my granddaughter is my favorite hobby! I also love time with my friends, traveling, and am always up for an adventure.
Business Administrator and Receptionist
I love meeting our new patients and enjoy the relationships I have built with our established patients. I started with the practice in 1988, working for Dr. Joe, and watched Dr. Rupp grow into a wonderful, caring person and doctor, just like her father! Other than caring for the doctors, I open and close the office, manage facility maintenance, and order/track our office supplies. I also greet and check in patients, oversee the schedule, and handle collections.
Beyond work, I enjoy my family and host many family gatherings. I love being a grandma and spend every moment I can with my precious granddaughter, Emerson.
Receptionist and Fill-In Assistant
I love to see smiling, familiar faces arrive for their visits. Having been with Riverside Dental since 2005, after starting in the field in 1993, I’ve met so many wonderful people! Our office is a family and our patients are a big part of that positive, welcoming feeling. I greet and check in patients, update their records, verify insurance, and schedule future visits. I’m also a dental assistant and fill in to assist the doctors when needed.
When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my family. I have two grown daughters, a wonderful grandson, and another one on the way!
I really enjoy solving problems within the insurance process, so our patients get the most from their benefits! I’m a new arrival at Riverside Dental, having started in 2017, though I brought with me several years of experience in insurance. I review treatment plans with patients and explain their dental benefits. I also file and process insurance claims, and follow up for timely results.
I’m from a small town in Kansas and moved to Wichita to attend college at WSU to complete my degree in business administration. I got married in 2016 and we’re expecting our first baby in January 2018! I enjoy time with friends and family, walking our dog, and exploring Wichita.
I look forward to getting to know patients and developing real connections with them. It’s a great feeling to help someone achieve a strong smile and keep it healthy! I started at Riverside Dental in 1981 and can’t imagine working in a more positive practice. I take X-rays and clean, scale, and polish patients’ teeth. Much of my time is focused on teaching my patients how to keep their teeth and gums healthy so they have great smiles.
Outside of work, I love traveling with my family, especially exploring the outdoors, fishing, and going to the lake. I’m married and we have three wonderful sons who are the loves of my life. All the boys went to the University of Kansas and played many sports. My husband and I also have two sweet Australian shepherds, Maddie and Rocky.
It’s rewarding to work closely with my patients, and helping each to improve their oral health and develop a clean, beautiful smile. At Riverside Dental, our doctors and my coworkers are family, and we care for our patients’ well-being and happiness. My dental field experience started in 1989 and I joined the practice in 2000. Working with patients, I clean teeth, provide preventive and maintenance care, and teach my patients how to keep their smile in great health.
I’ve been happily married for more than 20 years. My husband and I have two kids, Sydney and Colby, and we enjoy watching and supporting their sporting activities.
I love catching up with my patients every four to six months. It’s fun to see how their home-care efforts improve their oral health, and I like hearing about the changes in their lives. My career in the field started in 2000 and I joined Riverside Dental in 2005. I can’t imagine a friendlier, more supportive and happy office! I clean teeth, check for oral disease, and provide preventive care. I also offer a lot of education, so patients can keep their smile healthy for life! In addition, I help as an assistant, order supplies, and volunteer with KMOM, which is a free dental clinic.
My husband’s name is Derick. We have two young kids, Carter and Kemper, and we love to travel and explore new places, cultures, and experiences. We also love KSU and Royals baseball!
I love getting to know my patients and forming relationships with them. I am happiest when patients improve their home care and develop a healthier smile! I started working at Riverside Dental as a Dental Assistant in 2006 and then studied to became a hygienist in 2010. I clean teeth, examine and treat patients for gingivitis and periodontitis, take X-rays, and place sealants. I also like to provide education and encouragement!
My husband Josh and I have been married for more than ten years. We have two sons, Cayden and Logan, who keep us busy with their dirt bikes, football, and other activities; they do it all! We live in the country with cats, chickens, ducks, and a lizard.
Expanded Duty Dental Assistant
We have a great team at Riverside Dental, where everyone does all they can to make sure our patients feel welcome and safe. I have more than 30 years of experience in the dental field and became part of this team in 2002. I provide chairside assistance for the doctors during procedures and help train our new dental assistants. I also take impressions and X-rays, sterilize instruments, and order and track dental supplies.
I have an amazing son, Jake, who keeps me busy with his school events and the many sports he plays. We enjoy the outdoors and being active! We spend time together riding bikes and swimming.
Expanded Duty Dental Assistant
I love being part of Riverside Dental and helping people enjoy their smile! I’ve been here since 2007, after starting in the field in 1996, and I treasure the friendships with our patients. I seat and prep patients, take impressions and X-rays, and assist the doctor with the procedure: acting as a second set of hands. My attention is always on our patients’ comfort, as I talk with them about how they’re feeling and what we’re doing.
Outside the office, I love time with my amazing grandkids and finding wonderful bargains at Goodwill!
I love being part of the Riverside Dental team! Our doctors are friendly and kind, and make our patients feel like part of the family. Working at our practice, I sterilize instruments, prepare the room for treatment, and seat and prepare our patient. Then, staying chairside, I assist the doctor with the procedure while making sure our patient is comfortable. I started working in the dental field in 2009 and found my professional home here in 2010.
I share my life with Cabo, my Pomeranian. Outside of work, I enjoy lying by the pool in the summer and am really into essential oils and sharing their benefits with others.
Our doctors and team provide incredible dental care and will do everything possible to make sure patients have stress-free visits. I prepare rooms, sterilize instruments, and take X-rays. I also assist the doctors with procedures while supporting our patients. Having started in the dental field in 2010, I joined Riverside Dental in 2014 and love the positive and fun environment.
After growing up on a farm in the small town of Spearville, I moved to Wichita in 2007. My partner Zach and I have a young daughter, Lilly, along with a Boxer named Dexter and a cat named Boogers.
I like working alongside my Riverside Dental team and doctors. Our patients are wonderful people and I enjoy our conversations! I am fluent in Spanish and am able to translate treatment plans for our Spanish-speaking patients so they can clearly understand their care. My dental career started in 2001 and I became part of the practice in 2015. I work with the doctors to explain procedures, support the patient during treatment, and sterilize our dental instruments.
My time off is spent with my husband and three sons. The boys play soccer so we attend a lot of tournaments! I love to cook too, and enjoy creating great dishes for family and friends.
At Riverside Dental, our doctors and my teammates are the best people! They’re friendly, professional, and always make sure patients are comfortable and informed. I joined the practice in 2016 and love the family atmosphere. I sterilize instruments and the treatment area, then seat patients and prepare them for their procedure. I take radiographs and impressions, and assist the doctor during the treatment, but always check that our patient is comfortable and relaxed.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends at the lake. I love vacations, snow skiing, and — best of all — chasing after my young son Gabriel and watching him grow and learn!
